Holiday Ornament Giveaway!

So Thanksgiving is over, now the mad dash towards Christmas.  I'm going to stay out of the frenzy and do as much shopping as I can online and enjoy the comfies of my home and family, as it should be this time of year.  :D

One of my favorite things about this time of year is thinking about the goodies we make to send to family.  We always have my husband's "Best Damn Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever" and in the past we've added to the tins candied nuts, rum balls and maybe some specialty cookies from the market.  This year I think it would be super fun to get the kids involved and make gingerbread cookies to decorate.

So this is what you need to do to enter the giveaway,
leave a comment telling me what is your favorite holiday
treat/snack/appetizer to make/give/receive this time of year.

Additional entries (please leave a separate comment for each):

  2. I always make gingerbread girls and boys and this year I'm also making sugar cookies, candy, and fudge... So all the people in Cody's office better look out! Also, this year I'm doing four big boxes of goodies, for four special sets of folks, and they'll get a gingerbread tag from Two Kazoos!! Yay!
Ps I have a great gingerbread recipe that doesn't use molasses that kids like better than the traditional recipes, so let me know if you want it. :)

  4. I really like chocolate covered pretzels with sprinkles. :) I don't make them often because they are a mess, but the sweet salty combination is my favorite! :)

  6. I LOVE to make rum balls, and I get so excited when people give us chex mix. I don't know why, since I could easily make it myself - it's not a specialty item, LOL!

  9. We have a neighbor who moved in two years ago who brings raspberry shortbread cookies around to everyone in the cul-de-dac - that is the treat I love to get the most. But for giving, I love to share my Grandmother's decorated sugar cookies - just the cookies, though, as it's a secret family recipe!

  10. I always make Chex Mix - I use the same recipe my mom always used growing up, so it reminds me of childhood - I poor it into mason jars and give it away to family and friends.
