So Thanksgiving is over, now the mad dash towards Christmas. I'm going to stay out of the frenzy and do as much shopping as I can online and enjoy the comfies of my home and family, as it should be this time of year. :D
One of my favorite things about this time of year is thinking about the goodies we make to send to family. We always have my husband's "Best Damn Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever" and in the past we've added to the tins candied nuts, rum balls and maybe some specialty cookies from the market. This year I think it would be super fun to get the kids involved and make gingerbread cookies to decorate.
So this is what you need to do to enter the giveaway,
leave a comment telling me what is your favorite holiday
treat/snack/appetizer to make/give/receive this time of year.

I love love love to make up cute lil packages of snowman poop, reindeer poop, santa kisses and reindeer food...I attach cute lil poems to them as well. They certainly are a big hit and put a smile on even the Bah Humbuggiest facesof all =)

ReplyDeleteWe have a neighbor who moved in two years ago who brings raspberry shortbread cookies around to everyone in the cul-de-dac - that is the treat I love to get the most. But for giving, I love to share my Grandmother's decorated sugar cookies - just the cookies, though, as it's a secret family recipe!
ReplyDeleteI always make Chex Mix - I use the same recipe my mom always used growing up, so it reminds me of childhood - I poor it into mason jars and give it away to family and friends.
