Ebates rocks!

I just became hip to Ebates.  I love it.  I wish I knew about it when I first started my online holiday shopping!  But I did manage to get a few purchases made through Ebates and already have a cash back balance building.  The cool thing is they give you $5 just for signing up!  And if you refer people, you get $5 for each on as well (that makes a qualifying purchase by a certain time).

Holiday Ornament Giveaway!

So Thanksgiving is over, now the mad dash towards Christmas.  I'm going to stay out of the frenzy and do as much shopping as I can online and enjoy the comfies of my home and family, as it should be this time of year.  :D

One of my favorite things about this time of year is thinking about the goodies we make to send to family.  We always have my husband's "Best Damn Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever" and in the past we've added to the tins candied nuts, rum balls and maybe some specialty cookies from the market.  This year I think it would be super fun to get the kids involved and make gingerbread cookies to decorate.
